To recognize high leadership achievement, OSL offers a number of scholarship opportunities to our students.  These awards are based primarily on character and leadership experience and, secondarily, on achievement in the classroom.  

Thomas E. Wilson Scholarship

Amount: Up to $15,000 per year
Eligibility: Must be an incoming or current student in the Oaks School of Leadership.  

Ministry Staff Scholarship 

Amount: Up to $6,000 per year
Eligibility: Must be a student either in Year 3 or Year 4 of the program.  Must have a good reputation among pastoral staff and peers.  Amount varies by internship track.  This award is selected by The Oaks Fellowship pastoral staff and is awarded to approximately 12 - 20 students per year.  

Ministry Associate Scholarship

Amount: Up to $4,500 per year
Eligibility: Must be a student in either Years 2, 3 or 4 of the program.  Must have a good reputation among pastoral staff and peers.  Amount varies by internship track.  This award is selected by The Oaks Fellowship pastoral staff and is awarded to approximately 25 - 40 students per year.  

Academic Achievement Scholarship

Amount: Up to $3,000 per year
Eligibility: Available for all current students who exemplify high achievement in academics.  This is measured not only in GPA, but also in course participation.  

Young Entrepreneur Award

Amount: Up to $3,000 per year
Eligibility: Available for current students in Years 2 or 3 who demonstrate entrepreneurial (self-starter) characteristics in leadership.  Students are nominated by pastoral staff and ministry staff at The Oaks Fellowship.  

A/G Award

Amount: $1,200 per year
Eligibility: Available for current students in Year 1 or Year 2 who are from an Assemblies of God church and have demonstrated exemplary leadership in that church.  This award will be determined by a completed recommendation of a pastor or ministry leader of that church.  

OSL Alumni Referral Award

Amount: $4,800 ($1,200 per year)
Eligibility: Available for current students in Years 1-4 who are from an Assemblies of God church and have demonstrated exemplary leadership in that church.  This award will be determined by a completed recommendation of a former OSL student (or LEAD student) who is serving in a paid or non-paid ministry position.
